This place is amazing! Excellent food with tons of options, and really phenomenal service. We go at least once a week, and it's the best Mexican food in the area. I miss LA a little bit less now that I've found this place!

I am a big fan of great chips and salsa ... Plazuelas chips and salsa are the worst I have ever had. The chips are thick, stale and served at room temperature and the salsa ( if you can call it salsa) is terrible, tasted like bottled ketchup with seasoning. I always order steak fajitas when I dine at a Mexican restaurant and those also were a huge disappointment compared to other Mexican restaurants.The service was fine and the margaritas were tasty... However, that is not enough to ever bring me back to dine there.

I celebrated my nomination last night in this delicious restaurant. Well it was a outstanding evening and the place was indeed one of the reasons for that fruitful meeting. The stuff participated in a sweet style, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were so pleased. We shall surely return for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Yummy food! Quick seating. Clean bathrooms. Abundant parking. Abundant portions. Beers on tap. Vegetarian options. Kids menu. Seemingly unlimited chips but not unlimited salsa. Service was nice. Could have used some more napkins, more frequent water trips, a refill on salsa. But we would definitely go back again!

We LOVE this place. Very authentic food, drinks are good. Wait staff and managers are very prompt. HIGHLY recommend. Fajitas are very good, margaritas are great.

Inexpensive and delicious authentic Mexican. Loved the Chile Relleno and enchiladas best. Chips and salsa were plentiful and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Always excellent food. We had 12 people for dinner there and everything came out delicious. The never ending bowl of salsa and chips makes you wish you didn't order so much. I had the Chicken Enchiladas with black beans and rice. It was perfect.

I've eaten at Plazuelas twice now and the food has been great both times. It's not the true authentic Mexican food that I would get back in Southern California but it is still great food. It's fair to mention that the serving size isn't the ridiculous sized portions that I would expect if I was in Southern California, either. But again it is very tasty. The most redeeming quality of Plazuelas is the very friendly staff. I would surely recommend this place to anyone who wanted a pleasant Mexican dining experience.

pretty average. you ask for a taco, you get a taco. nothing fancy, nothing more, nothing less.

From the outside this might seem like an OK Mexican restaurant but it truly is a wonderful little spot! The staff is so friendly and the food is great. I’ve never had anything from the menu that I didn’t like. When you come with friends they are always accommodating to your seating preferences and are very speedy!

The chicken in my dish was delicious but everything else was average at best. The salsa had no fresh veggies and tasted like tomato puree.

The nachos appetizer was delicious, I recommend it.The interior is a little dirty, but not overly. If you want some corona you can get it here.They still have Christmas decoration out and the nutcracker has a dirty rotten tortilla chip in its mouth I don’t know how long it’s been there but it’s gross.

My husband and I used to be regulars here. The food was always delicious. However, it has gone extremely downhill! The chips are always stale, dried food on “clean” silverware, and the food has been brought out several times wrong. When you ask for it to be corrected they say it has always been prepared that way and nothing is done. The owners wife will try to add things to your check saying they are an “extra” charge and state it has always been that way but when you open the menu it clearly states it is included in the meal. It is a very dishonest thing to do thinking people won’t take a look at the bill. They offer coupons but then get frustrated that you want to use it when you check out. We will not be going here anymore.

I absolutely LOVE Plazuelas!!! The food is amazing and reasonably priced, the staff is always so friendly, and the interior is cool. This is one of my regular spots, they are definitely worth trying out if you're in the area. This is a nice, casual place and the food is always good!

Decent service, decent food. I really enjoy the queso but the entrees are often hit or miss. You may really like it one time but the next time it isn't prepared the same way.
